USMC Tilted Mast atop the National Museum of the Marine Corps building, Quantico.
National Marine Corps Museum building is a soaring, 210-foot tilted mast atop a 160-foot glass atrium. This design was inspired by the famous Iwo Jima flag raising of World War II, the image that also inspired the Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington, Virginia.
